What to expect
We put a gauge on an outside faucet and read the pressure at the house. If it's above the safe range, the pressure reducing valve has usually failed and we replace it. If it's low, we look for a failing valve, a partly closed shut-off or a restriction in the line, and we test rather than guess. Either way you get the reading and the explanation before we quote anything.
