Fixtures and disposals
The small jobs are most of plumbing: a toilet that runs, a faucet that drips, a disposal that hums and does nothing, a shower that will not hold temperature. We fix them the same way we do everything else, with a written price before the work starts, and we carry the common parts on the truck so most are done in one visit.
What we handle
- Toilets repaired, rebuilt or replaced, including flanges and wax seals
- Kitchen and bathroom faucets repaired or replaced
- Tub and shower valves, cartridges and trim, including pressure-balance valves
- Garbage disposals repaired or replaced
- Hose bibs, stop valves and braided supply lines
- Bathroom and kitchen sinks, drains and traps
Repair or replace
A running toilet is nearly always a flapper or fill valve, and a rebuild is the right call. A toilet that rocks, leaks at the base or has a cracked tank gets replaced. A dripping faucet is a cartridge if the body is sound; if the finish is pitted and the valve seat is gone, a new faucet costs little more than the parts to save the old one. We tell you which it is before you decide.
Disposals
A hum with no spin is a jam; a silent disposal is usually the reset button or the cord. Both are quick. A disposal that leaks from the bottom is done, and gets replaced.
Supply lines and stop valves
The braided lines under a sink and behind a toilet, and the little valves they connect to, cause a surprising share of house floods. If yours are old, stiff or corroded, we replace them while we are there.
Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
Every job we complete is backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty. If our workmanship ever fails, we return and make it right at no charge. Any condition that limits or voids the warranty is explained to you upfront, before work begins.
The warranty is written on your invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you install fixtures I bought myself?
Yes. The workmanship warranty covers our installation; the fixture itself is covered by its manufacturer. We will tell you if what you bought will not fit or will not last.
Why does my toilet keep running?
Nine times out of ten it is a worn flapper or a fill valve that no longer shuts off. Both are a quick rebuild.
Can you match the finish on my existing fixtures?
Usually. Tell us the brand and finish when you call and we bring the right trim.
